PPG was recently named body raw materials quality supplier of the year for 2015 by FCA US LLC during the sixth annual Qualitas awards ceremony in Detroit. The awards recognize top-performing suppliers that have shown extraordinary commitment to quality, innovation, continuous improvement and the automaker’s Foundational Principles.

PPG provides automotive coatings and services to FCA US, including all five layers of vehicle paint coatings (pretreatment, electrocoat, primer, basecoats and clearcoats) and related services in the automaker’s paint shops.

The Qualitas Annual Strategy Meeting and Supplier Awards Ceremony gives FCA US the opportunity to present Qualitas awards to 23 of its North American strategic supplier partners that demonstrated operational excellence in 2015 and have strong corporate values in areas such as diversity, innovation and sustainability.
